FEATURE FILM: A woman’s story of passing through tragedy, trials, heartache, and suffering until the day she got home, to her home in heaven. This is a “real world” account of how Martha Yancey Garner overcame unbearable circumstances and kept pressing towards the goal until she was able to lay all those trials down and look into the face of her Savior. She persevered. She finished the race until the day she was once again “home.”
TV Sit-com Episodes: "Good Ole Gospel Sing" is a story of a musical Kilpatrick family who travels to "gospel sings" every weekend on Sand Mountain and in the highways and byways of Northeast Alabama, Northwest Georgia, and Southeast Tennessee. Mr. Charlie Kilpatrick is the leader of many of the singings, his family all plays different instruments, and his hefty Sister-In-Law, Myrtle Camp, plays piano "by ear." They all use shaped-note books unless someone calls for a hymn. The so-called singing professionals sit in the "class" downfront, with a couple men full of mischief. A well-dressed man is a regular and would fight for his role as usher and his offering plate. Miss Eucile Maddox helps Mr. Charlie with directing the "sings," while the central character, Martha Idell, is Mr. Charlie's wife and is played by Kelly Garner. She is the real-life great granddaughter of Mr. Charlie. This is a series of stories about their grand adventurers on the road, hysterical moments in the church and situations with the church ladies during dinner-on-the-ground. As traveling musicians with a "Kilpatrick Family" sign on the panel station-wagon, they stumble over just about every funny situation you can imagine; but nevertheless, their day is laced with heartfelt moments along the way. When they have completed their journey, they drive up to their home about dusk every week. As they think about the day and unload their panel station-wagon, it is time to start planning and preparing for their trip to next weeks "Good Ole Gospel Sing!"
FEATURE FILM: For some people, proof of the existence of a hereafter comes in the form of “near-death” visions or visitations. There are so many instances of people who are getting close to death making statements about seeing family members that no one else can see. Many accounts describe people reaching out their hands as if to touch someone, seeing someone in their room, getting a visitation that seems to be real, etc. These are so common that it is hard to believe that it could be a vision made up in the brain when close to death. This film is journey of one woman's life from this side into eternity, "beyond the veil."
MADE-FOR-TV MOVIE: Jonah is a character in the bible who experienced both the good and bad. At one point in his life he followed God, then walked away only to find himself in dire circumstances, in the belly of a whale. He realized his mistakes and once he was given a second chance he lived his life boldly for God. This movie is a tale about his life and what he learned about life and about God along the way.
FEATURE FILM: Martha Yancey Garner began her life as one of the prettiest little girls in her area. She grew up winning every beauty pageant that she entered, including one of 12 Auburn Beauties in college. A modern-day princess? Yes! But, she would turn out to be an extraordinary woman who endured enormous tragedy, trials and hardship in life. Even though she saw much suffering, she raised an only child to also be a little princess, winning pageants and other accolades. But, her greatest "win" was to show her daughter through the life she lived what the most important things were in life, following Jesus and being a warrior of the faith.
MADE-FOR-TV MOVIE: She layed in a hospital bed for two months before she died, but while she layed there, she began to have visions. It could be described more accurately as visitations from family members gone passed on before her and even a man that she did not recognize at first. Towards the end, she was able to assure her daughter that it was going to be a "Hallelujah Christmas" because her mother came to visit her and told her so. Her daughter thought she would be taking her home, but the woman who was sick knew that her mother meant that it would be a "Hallelujah Christmas" with her in heaven.
FEATURE FILM: The world is beginning to take the shape of a Revelation Age. Preachers have spoken of signs and wonders in the bible for many years, but actual events are starting to take place. This is a tale of one man's account of the stories in Revelation start to manifest before his very own eyes. He tries with all his might to keep his family and friends safe even though he knows that the end is near.
MADE-FOR-TV MOVIE: The mantle of faith is passed down through generations. The film is about the importance of a family living out their faith in front of the children through the good times and bad. They are called to hold each other up through any circumstance just as a mantle holds up family heirlooms above the hearth, no matter how raging the fire is in the fireplace, in the lives they live.
MADE-FOR-TV MOVIE: Have you ever felt as if you were not "seen," or even heard? This is a tale of a woman in an abusive situation at home that just wants to be "seen" by her husband. She looks to the Word of God for her strength and stumbles across the passage in the bible where Jesus calls Mary's name just as he exits the tomb and is risen from the dead. Mary was the first to see Jesus that day and there is no doubt that he saw her when he called her by name.
